After an entertaining half at Franklins Gardens, Northampton lead by just 4 points. Although it has to be said, it could have been a one point lead if Taylor hadn't missed an early penalty attempt.

Both sides new signings have performed fantastically this half. Samu Manoa of Saints and Chistolini of Gloucester have both showed their potential already during this match.

May scored Gloucester's only try but could have easily scored a hat-trick already. Roberts scored a potentially controversial try from a quick tap and go, he might not have been correctly positioned when he  quickly started but it's too late now. Read more to view players of the half.

Gloucester could probably do with players like Vainikolo and Simpson-Daniel performing a little better and some Gloucester fans may say the ref is a little biased but Gloucester are experienced and will overcome that easily.
