Aviva Premiership giants, Leicester and Northampton, are in a battle to sign Worcester Warriors star Miles Benjamin. The 23-year-old has been with Worcester since 2007 but is a potential candidate for the England squad. He is a prolific try-scorer for Worcester and opted to stay with the west-country club despite their relegation last season. Benjamin is out of contract at the end of this season and will look to move to a bigger club so he can catch the eye of the new England interim coaches.


Toulouse end Harlequins' unbeaten run
An exceptional Toulouse performance outclassed Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop. Two tries from Timoci Matanavou allowed the four-time European champions to end Harlequins' 14 game unbeaten run but other brilliant performances from the likes of Luke Burgess, Louis Picamoles and Luke McAlister assisted the French giants in their victory.

Ashton set for Saints departure
Northampton and England star, Chris Ashton, could leave Northampton Saints. The winger, whose contract expires next year, could talk to other clubs as early as January 2012 as he prepares himself to move out of Franklins Gardens. Ashton has been linked with a move to Saracens, who former rugby league team mate Joel Tomkins has just signed for.
