England centre Shontayne Hape crosses for his second try of the match, England v Georgia, Rugby World Cup, Otago Stadium, Dunedin, New Zealand, September 18, 2011After a surprisingly poor first half from England, they redeemed themselves well in the second half. It may not have been the overwhelming victory everybody expected, Georgia put up a fight, but were no match for England at the end of the day.

The Georgians started strongly and were rewarded for the effort as England conceded a penalty, they kicked for territory. This moment early on and Georgia's try from Basilaia were the best moments from the Eastern Europeans.

Hape opened England's scoring early on as he broke through the Georgian defence following a mistake by the opponents.
Machkhaneli made an attempt at the line but was crucially tackled into touch after the TMO analysed the attack. Georgian fly half, Kvirikashvili, missed two penalties which would have narrowed the English lead to just a point had he scored them. Hape's second try was not far away either as Flood made the initial break with a pass to Ashton. The ball made its way to the New Zealand born centre who went over.

A strong England attack was prevented again early on in the half as the referee penalized them for crossing during the move but England still went into the second half leading by 7 points, 17-10.

It was try galore for the rest of the half as Delon Armitage went over for another England try. Ashton's two tries of the game in the second half as well and he showed of his popular swallow dive that we haven't really seen since the Six Nations.

Strong Manu Tuilagi went over for another England try; Flood was a little shaky in his conversions on the odd occasion but certainly held a better record than Wilkinson's last week.
