- Half time update: Australia v Ireland
A close, tightly fought first half. Mistakes and misses have lost both sides points but nobody is the favourite and this will be a battle to the end.
Australia have taken two penalties, both from James O'Connor who was re-called after a one match ban from the Australian management. Ireland had one penalty from Jonny Sexton and also a few misses from the young fly-half. However, Sexton redeemed himself with a drop goal to tie the scores at 6-6.
Australia will be disappointed that they have taken the opportunities to get more points and the half time score is the same as their opening clash with Italy. 6-6. Click read more to view players of the half and our predictions.
