Following Gloucester's win against Bath, Bryan Redpath praised the hard work of both forwards and backs. The post match press conference opened with questions about Gloucester's strong scrummaging efforts.

"John Brain has done good work, with emphasis on the scrum" he said. "It was a collective effort, Carl worked lots on the drive."

Redpath went on to discuss what he told the players during the half time break, Gloucester did seem to out perform Bath in 2nd half so this could have been key.

"Get in the right areas...gain confidence with from having the ball in hand." He went on to praise Tim Taylor on a fantastic performance.

"Credit to Tim, he got a few bumps and bruises but had an excellent kicking performance," he said. Redpath also described how with such a fantastic crowd his half time team talk didn't mean that much.

"I dont think there was much motivation from me...the fans are phenomenal" he said.

When asked about maintaining Gloucester's home record he was very straight forward in persisting that it didn't matter to the team.

"It's irrelevant. We are well aware of that but we can't go out defending it." He assured the media that his focus was on the team winning matches and playing well, not maintaining a record.

Following Andy Hazell's injury, Matt Cox was started even though he had a shaky performance the previous week against Harlequins.

"He moved on from a poor game last week. Credit to Will James and Tom Savage...credit to them all. The pack was outstanding."

He also discussed how Gloucester can move on from the win.

"We should enjoy it. We were better in discipline and we should strive on that." He also told the media about Gloucester's clash with London Irish next weekend.

"A new game, a new challenge. We should look forward to it. We have nothing to lose against London Irish or Sale."
