Two of England's Rugby World Cup representatives have already been struck with injuries just weeks after after returning from New Zealand. Manu Tuilagi sustained a cheek injury in a clash of heads during Leicester's LV Cup Round 2 match with Gloucester. It has been confirmed that Tuilagi has a broken cheekbone and will probably miss around 6 weeks of rugby.

Richard Wigglesworth has suffered an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament which he had surgery on this morning, ruling him out for the rest of the season. He damaged his ACL during Sarries' LV Cup Round 2 match with Exeter.

Wigglesworth joined Saracens in 2010 from his previous club, Sale Sharks. At the age 28, Wigglesworth showed his skills on the world stage at the World Cup after Danny Care was ruled out with injury. Wigglesworth's England appearances have been frustratingly limited and he has always been the third/fourth choice starting scrum-half.

Tuilagi on the other hand is just 20 years old but is already an exciting England prospect. He was one of the few stand-out players for England in Rugby World Cup but his foolish off field antics have caused embarrassment for himself and the RFU.
