Ashton given 4 week ban
Northampton and England star, Chris Ashton, has been banned for four weeks following a brawl during Northampton's clash with Leicester at the weekend. The RFU decided that Ashton had broken a rule in Law 10 about good sportsmanship. The RFU website states 'Ashton, 24, was found guilty of pulling Alesana Tuilagi by his hair and dragging him from the field of play.' Ashton has also been made to pay £500 of costs. If Northampton are to appeal the decision they will have to do so within 48 hours of the RFU decision.
