Argentina have an exciting and historic year to look forward too. For the first time ever they will compete in an annual tournament against the southern hemisphere giants (Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.) They also go into the Rugby Championship after a reasonably successful 2011, some of the Pumas top players are in great form and they have the help of coaching guru Graham Henry - who will support and aid the Argentinian coaches.

The South Americans won three out of six games last year. Although that doesn't suggest a successful year, the Pumas did play some of the worlds best, in the form of: the All Blacks (eventual World Cup winners), Wales (eventual 4th placer) and England (only 4 points separated them at the final whistle.)

The last of the RWC quarter finals saw the All Blacks take on Argentina. The All Blacks have never lost to Argentina and yet after 2 upsets and a surprise in the other 3 matches who knew this might just have been the first time.

The game started off as expected with the All Blacks going on the attack from the word go. Argentina however showed that they were not just a run over to the semi's. Their defence were good and didn't falter and neither did their discipline. That is until the 13th minute. Piri Weepu kicked the first of seven penalties as the All Blacks took the lead. He followed it up with another soon after.

England's explosive tackler, Courtney Lawes, has been cited following allegations he kneed Mario Ledesma after tackling him into touch.

The incident occurred in England's clash against Argentina and it is believed that Lawes has breached rule 10.4(a) which is not to punch or strike somebody with the knee.

England coach, Martin Johnson, has said he will provide any information required for the disciplinary hearing which will take place on Tuesday at 3AM (BST) in Auckland.

This citing is the first so far of the Rugby World Cup 2011. The 22 year-old also earned his 11th cap in England's clash with Argentina since he got hist first against Australia in 2010 where he supplied the pass to Chris Ashton to score his memorable try.

England will continue their world cup campaign on Sunday against group minnows, Georgia.

A boring match. Full of kicking errors and very disappointing mistakes.

England were favourites but Argentina proved they were certainly not the underdogs as they led the way in the first half with no tries, just 3 penalties. However, Rodriguez certainly didn't show his full playing quality with a selection of penalty misses.
