Being involved with Gloucester Rugby has brought to my attention that there are a great deal of up-and-coming rugby stars who many believe will star for England one day. Some surely will but other youngsters that are still at U18's and U20's level are not making first team starts for their clubs. At Kingsholm, the likes of Charlie Sharples, Henry Trinder, Freddie Burns and Jonny May are such brilliant young talents but the question is, are they really capable of getting into the England setup and representing them regularly?

The reason I ask this question is because at Gloucester Rugby you have players like Olly Morgan and James Simpson-Daniel who were these young stars a few years ago. They are a little older now but still haven't really represented England very much. They have both played for the England Saxons but it has to be said the Saxons are the England "A" team and a group of players who are probably not strong enough yet to represent England regularly.

At other clubs in the country you have stars like Owen Farrell, Chris Robshaw, Rory Clegg, Billy Twelvetrees and a lot more. These players would hope to break into the England elite squad but most of these players are at the age of 22-23. Whereas most of the England elite players are 25-26 so I would hope the RWC 2015 or 2013/2014 Six Nations would be the target for many of these youngsters.
