Stringer signs for Sarries
Saracens are set to sign Irish scrum-half, Peter Stringer. The 33-year-old is being signed on a three month loan due to the long term injury of Richard Wigglesworth and another injury to Neil de Kock. Stringer has represented his country 98 times and will provide huge experience to the youngsters at Saracens. Stringer said "This offers me a new challenge, and I'm grateful to Munster management for their co-operation."
England retain Dubai Sevens trophy
A 29-12 victory over France for England ensured that they would win the Dubai Sevens for a second year running. England's quarter-final match saw them face New Zealand where they narrowly won 10-7. In the semi-final they beat Fiji 19-12. England Saxons head coach, Ben Ryan, said "We played some clever football out there and we were pretty ruthless.
