- Henson to start at fly-half for London Welsh
12 July 2012
According to managing director John Taylor, Premiership new boys London Welsh will play Gavin Henson at fly-half for next season. Despite controversy in the past, London Welsh have welcomed Henson to the Kassam Stadium with open arms.
Henson has wanted to play at fly-half in the last couple of years but previous clubs such as Saracens, Cardiff Blues and Toulon have all opted to slot him in at centre. However, his wait for the No. 10 shirt is now over as London Welsh are expected to play the controversial figure at fly-half.
Just done an interesting interview with London Welsh managing director John Taylor about their signing of Gavin Henson.

"We will use Gavin as a No.10 primarily and there are not too many really top-class No.10s that you can pick up with two months' notice," Taylor told Wales Online. "It was a god-send to have someone of his quality available. We think he can do a great job for us on the field. He is a very talented player." Taylor said.
