- Cook on his way to Kingsholm
12 July 2012
RFU Championship star and Cornish Pirates full-back Rob Cook has penned a new two-year deal at Gloucester under the reign of former Scarlets boss Nigel Davies.
At the age of 28, Cook had an outstanding spell at Cornish Pirates, scoring an incredible 26 tries and more than 1000 points. He has been a target of many clubs during his Pirates era but now he makes the big step into the Aviva Premiership.
Having assisted the Pirates to the Championship final last season he will now join Martyn Thomas and Olly Morgan at Kingsholm as a very reliable full-back and kicking option.
ROB COOK SIGNS FOR GLOUCESTER. Sad to see him go but he definitely deserves to be in the top flight! #CPTweeters
